1st Place Winner:

"The Love Between Mother and Son"
-- Love was in the air! There is no greater love shown than this heartwarming photo of Patrick holding his dear mother close, singing her favorite old time hymns.

2nd Place Winner:

"Partners for Life: King and Queen"
-- So confident as Queen and King they walked in the activity room during the Halloween Contest shouting "make way! Make way! Hail to Queen Bee!" They were crowned winners of the contest.

Win Cash for Activity Programs!

The Ohio Health Care Association 2019 Photo Contest is designed to capture life and caregiving through photography.

OHCA provider members submitted photographs featuring the daily life, activities, loving care and relationships between the individuals we care for, families and staff. Entries represent daily life in long term care, including interactions, activities, therapies, events and pets.

The public voted for entries via the OHCA Facebook page, and the winners were announced on Tuesday, October 15.

Prizes

  • The provider member submitting the winning photo will receive $500 toward a pizza party, ice cream social or other social event
  • The provider member submitting the second place photo will receive $200 for activities or supplies
  • The provider member submitting the third place photo will receive $100 for activities or supplies

All winners will also receive recognition through Association publications, website and social media.
